in Harper's Magazine in honor of America's first centennial celebration.
I have indexed numerous books about American
history and biography and have recently completed one about
the song, "Yankee Doodle."

Edouard
Manet (1832-1883) painted "The Waitress (Le serveuse de bocks)" in 1879.
It is oil on canvas and measures 30 1/2 x 25 1/2 in. It currently lives
at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. Manet is one of my favorite
artists and was the subject of my thesis in my undergraduate major ofart
history. In addition, I have indexed numerous books
on cooking
and wine.

This is Leonardo da Vinci's (c. 1690-1730) drawing for a calculator. It is one of the first mechanical "computers" produced in the Western world. The bulk of my current indexing involves embedded indexing of computer manuals. Most of my work has been focused on Visual Basic and databases.
